***This is a 2nd OR 3rd shift consulting assignment.  

• Administering comprehensive EHS programs to facilitate compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines addressing industrial hygiene, safety, and environmental health
• Analyzing existing and planned products, processes, equipment, facilities, and programs to develop and implement proactive strategies to minimize injury, illness, property loss, impact on the environment, and business interruption.

• Capable of assessing ergonomic risk
• Lead complex investigations and identify effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Conducts benchmarking with internal SME and external partners to support the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in developing alternative solutions for complex problems.
• Completes site self-audits and identify opportunities to improve regulatory inspection-readiness.
• Identify and develops initiatives to improve productivity of the EHS programs and systems.
• Assure health and safety requirements are included in the design and scope of capital projects.

• Bachelor's degree 
• 8+ yrs of work experience in occupational safety and industrial hygiene.
• Certificates, Licenses or Registrations: CIH and/or CSP required

Preferred Skills

• Green or Black Belt Certification
• Knowledge of several investigation techniques
