Job Description

We are recruiting for an exciting new role to join our Talent Acquisition team in the Toronto head office.  This role will report to the Managing Director, Talent Acquisition and will be accountable for overseeing and optimizing the talent acquisition processes and systems to ensure efficient and effective hiring practices.  This role will ensure our practices and processes are optimized to deliver a best in class hiring leader and candidate experience across our global teams.  As our team seeks out opportunities to optimize our technology and automation, this role will be accountable for delivering on the talent acquisition technology transformation over the next 3 years which will include large and complex enterprise-wide projects.   The manager will collaborate closely with cross functional teams to ensure that the talent acquisition experience aligns with organizational goals, compliance standards, and industry best practices. 

 

Job Description:

  • Consult on the day-to-day operations of the talent acquisition team and seek opportunities to create process improvements and efficiencies, to ensure that consistent processes are applied globally by the recruiters.
  • Act as the lead from Talent Acquisition on the technology transformation; this includes leading large initiatives and projects to ensure successful delivery and completion.
  • Direct involvement in planning, testing, implementation, and training along with change management across the enterprise. 
  • Lead the technology roadmap for talent acquisition by looking at external tools and making recommendations for improvement to achieve best in class efficiencies and automation.
  • Manage, coach, and mentor a team of direct reports who are accountable for group coordination support.
  • Use talent acquisition data to build quarterly scorecards and report on recruitment trends. 
  • Contribute to the strategy and planning for an enterprise-wide global employee value proposition.
  • Partner with existing vendors to enhance employment brand initiatives and achieve a cohesive message to internal and external candidates.
  • Partner with Public Affairs and Communications to deliver on content across platforms including careers site, LinkedIn, Indeed and Glassdoor.

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of work experience preferably in a talent acquisition, or HR technology operations role.
  • Deep expertise in applicant tracking systems technology; with experience in Workday recruiting preferred.
  • Experience leading and/or participating in an applicant tracking system transformation and implementation.
  • Intermediate to Advanced data skills; with the ability to synthesize data and use story telling techniques.
  • Experience with employment brand projects and leading projects with enterprise impact.
  • Ability to communicate and influence cross functional stakeholders.
