Job Description

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be an essential part of our fast-paced, dynamic team, which falls under Technology & Operations. Our team is primarily responsible for managing relationships with third-party data providers, including sourcing, negotiating commercial terms, ensuring compliance with data use policies, managing contracts, and handling the expense management of the category.

We are looking for a team member with strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative approach. We highly value team members who strive to expand their knowledge of today's data solutions and understand the needs of our user community.

1. Contract Management: Own and manage stakeholder group’s market data contracts. Proactively engage with data vendors to obtain renewal pricing information ahead of contract expiration dates, and ensure contracts are renewed accurately and promptly.

2. User Management:

Serve as the primary liaison for service users, providing them with necessary information regarding their contracts and services, and assist with product knowledge queries and troubleshooting.

3. Renewal Escalation:

 Escalate renewal information to senior team members for review and approval. Investigate budgeting variance to identify and address process flow gaps.

4. Market Data System Management:

  • Regularly update information in Market Data Management (MDM) system ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field.Strong communication skills, with experience liaising with investment, product, and data engineering teams.
  • Product Management or Account Management experience would be considered an assetFamiliarity with the Market Data Management (MDM) system is preferred.Excellent listening skills to translate data requests into actionable data searches
  • Experience interpreting and working with data catalogs, data dictionaries and sample data files to determine value, accuracy, and relevance
  • Exceptional negotiation skillsA strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and proven ability to work in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

Demonstrated ability to identify valuable datasets in the investment process.
