Position Overview

We are seeking highly trained and committed Commissioned School Security Officers (CSSOs) to ensure the safety of students, staff, and school property. Your primary mission is to neutralize active shooter threats and respond to critical incidents on school grounds. In addition, you will foster positive relationships with school staff, children, and parents, participate in safety drills, and help enforce and document school security protocols.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in military, law enforcement, corrections, or emergency response
Skills: Advanced firearms/tactical training, emergency response systems, and incident reporting
Education: High School Diploma or GED; relevant security/military/law enforcement training
Certifications: Valid CSSO credential (Phase II candidates also accepted)

Other Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Minimum age 21
• Pass drug screening, psychological evaluation, and background check
• Must own firearm, Level 3 retention holster, and 5 magazines
• Physical readiness to patrol both indoors and outdoors

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, in-person role
• Hourly rate: $22.00 to $26.00, depending on experience
