Job Description
The VP, Distribution will be an experienced, strategic thinker who will lead our distribution organization. This role reports to the COO and is a key member of the Operations Leadership Team. You will collaborate closely with leaders across the company to achieve business objectives and ensure a seamless customer experience. We are looking for a charismatic visionary who can elevate our organization while maintaining a strong focus on analytics and process improvement.
Our Next VP, Distribution Will:
Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the vision for Comoto's distribution network, aligning with company goals and growth strategies.
Operational Excellence: Manage fulfillment, reverse logistics, and transportation operations across multiple sites, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and consistency
Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance systems and processes, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation within the distribution network, encouraging new ideas and approaches to improve operations and customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership: Cultivate a positive, energized, and motivated team culture. Mentor and develop managers and their teams.
Customer Experience: Focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience through efficient and accurate distribution practices.
Quality Management: Implement and maintain quality standards across all distribution activities to ensure high levels of accuracy and reliability.
Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets and operating plans for distribution operations and Transportation, ensuring financial targets are met.
Negotiations: Lead negotiations with suppliers, vendors, and partners to secure favorable terms and ensure the best possible outcomes for the company.
Compliance & Safety: Advise on labor issues including safety, security, employee relations, scheduling, training, and grievances.
Qualifications
Our Next VP, Distribution Has:
Experience: 12+ years in distribution management, with a proven track record in eCommerce/retail business-to-consumer fulfillment
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills, with experience managing multi-site operations.
Process Improvement: Expertise in performance metrics and lean techniques, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Visionary: A big-picture thinker who is also willing to engage in day-to-day operations.
Collaboration: Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive change in a complex, high-growth environment.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, with experience in managing and implementing change effectively
