Job Description

Comoto is seeking experienced digital marketers to join our Performance Marketing team.  This in-house team runs the paid marketing channels driving Comoto’s revenue and new customer acquisition goals.  Reporting to the SEM Manager, this SEM Specialist is responsible primarily for the execution of Paid Search/Shopping channels.  

Our next SEM Specialist will be an analytical thinker with some serious Paid Search/Shopping experience under their belt and an insatiable curiosity to keep upping their game. They will have a proven track record of successful campaign execution from start to finish.  You will also have the opportunity to support Comoto’s larger media mix (including Display/Media/Video, Social Media).  As a key driver of Comoto’s growth, the Performance Marketing team is highly visible within the organization and regularly works across teams including the Analytics, Creative, Video, Merchandising, and Rider Support teams

Our Next SEM Specialist Will:

  • Building and maintaining a large Paid Search keyword & Shopping product group portfolio to support Revzilla, Cycle Gear, and J&P Cycles  ever-expanding catalog of premium gear and parts

  • Executing ad/copywriting testing to find the perfect message that calls to every moto enthusiast’s heart

  • Learning complex Paid Search & Shopping bid management strategies to take your results to the next level

  • Managing day-to-day campaign pacing of multimillion-dollar budgets

  • Optimizing the Paid Search/Shopping portfolio daily to boost star performers and cut the underachievers

  • Driving aggressive revenue growth across Performance channels

  • QA of own workflow--ad copy, audience management, campaign builds, etc--as well as review of teammates’ work to ensure positive customer-facing experience

  • Active participation and management of vendor/platform relationships 

  • Ultimately, mastering Paid Search / Shopping management to take the driver’s seat 

Qualifications

Our Next SEM Specialist Has:

  • 2-5 years working in Search Engine Marketing and/or Shopping

  • Retail/eCommerce domain experience

  • Experienced manager of large-scale Paid Search and Shopping accounts in Google AdWords and other Engines

    • End-to-end campaign management (planning, launch, testing, experience with 3rd party bid management tools)

    • Expertise working with 3rd party Paid Search and/or Shopping management platforms 

    • Large-scale=multi-platform, large product catalog, large budget, daily optimizing, ongoing promotional/content management

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Proficiency with Web Analytics tools 

    • Advanced Excel (eg. pivot tables, macros, complex formulas)

    • Experience addressing Marketing Analytics challenges like: attribution, media mix modelling, cross-device reporting

  • Highly detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple projects 

  • Ability to articulate clearly and effectively 

  • Self-starter, able to learn new processes, programs, and tools quickly

  • Thrive in a high-energy, collaborative, team-oriented environment

Extra Credit:

  • Experience in Display, Video, and Paid Social campaign management

  • Database (eg. Access) and/or BI Visualization (eg. Qlik, Tableau) working knowledge

  • SQL, Adwords scripting, or other coding languages

  • Motorcycle, ATV, and/or UTV enthusiast (not a requirement!)

Additional Information

It is preferred that this would be a hybrid position based in Philadelphia that will require 3 days per week in the office. However, the hiring manager is open to a remote team member if they live outside of the Philadelphia area.
