Job Description

The Director of Product Management will develop and deliver product roadmaps across the Comoto platform. This role will report to the CIO and be a key member of the Technology Leadership Team. This role will work closely with leaders across the company and Software Engineering to align roadmaps to meet business and technical objectives across both online and offline channels, including but not limited to web properties, mobile applications, in store technologies, distribution center systems, and call center systems. The leader is expected to develop an in-depth understanding of the customers and users of Comoto’s platform. Our goal is to deliver great products that make a positive impact on people’s lives.

Our Next Director, Product Management Will:

  • Define and continuously refine a multi-year, cross team product strategy

  • Understand customer and user needs

  • Become a Comoto platform expert; be able to anticipate issues,resolve challenges, and identify opportunities

  • Establish an enterprise wide quarterly prioritization process that result in rolling 12 month roadmaps

  • Establish company wide visibility to all product roadmap initiatives

  • Lead and develop a geographically dispersed team of product managers and product owners

  • Build a positive, energized, and motivated team culture

  • Establish and enforce standards for documenting product requirements and acceptance criteria

  • Collaborate closely with Software Engineering leadership on agile delivery processes

  • Support execution across multiple delivery teams

  • Deliver major initiatives with quality on time; own the outcomes

Qualifications

Our Next Director, Product Management Has:

  • Extensive experience leading a team of product managers and product owners

  • 10+ years of technical product management experience

  • Substantial experience working with agile methodologies

  • Experience leading a team with geographically remote members

  • Superior communication skills; able to easily engage with customers ,end users, peers, and executives

  • Excellent collaboration and problem solving skills

  • Online business experience (ecommerce, SaaS)

  • Excellent understanding of technologies and complex systems

  • Successful delivery track record

  • Experience in the moto/power sports industry a plus

Additional Information

Due to COVID, we are all working remotely for the foreseeable future. Once we return to the office, we prefer that this position be based out of Philadelphia. However, we are open to hiring a remote employee as long as they are willing to travel to Philadelphia for 1 week each month.
