Job Description

Assisting the VP of eCommerce and Omnichannel Marketing, our eCommerce Manager will be the the primary owner of the online retail experience through the development of overall brand marketing and initiatives while working across all of the talented teams that collectively work to achieve brand revenue goals through the online shopping experience. You will oversee and drive the ecommerce strategy by developing resources and prioritizing initiatives that support both digital omnichannel efforts. You will lead the charge, but you will work side-by-side our purchasing, content, technology, and in-house digital marketing teams to execute your vision.

You are someone who thinks many steps ahead, you have a strategic mindset, an analytical approach, and are a creative thinker - someone who will aid in both the definition of the brand's ecommerce goals and the success of them. You always have your finger on the pulse of the marketing calendar, you can identify where there's campaign alignment and where we might be soft. You bring ideas to the table when you identify holes in the calendar, you know what our competitors are up to and what we should be paying attention to as a result. You'll be agile, nimble, and vocal - evolving and pushing the business approach as needed. You will be as equally as excited about leading the effort as you are about rolling up your sleeves and developing solutions to new and existing digital and operational challenges.

Our Next eCommerce Manager Will:

  • Own brand webstore/digital experience, planning >3 months for on site representation/priorities, including major promotional event execution and communication via Comoto-level calendar
  • Organize and direct insights and reporting of campaign performance to determine future direction, current adjustments, and generation of new campaign recommendations
  • Assist in the building/management of a brand marketing roadmap to ensure initiatives are actively accounted for and that projects underway align with said initiatives
  • Own site customer funnel, identifying customer pain points and working with product/UX to identify potential solutions
  • Have a hand in defining overarching digital experience (navigation, landing pages, messaging, content) across marketing channels as needed (email/social/paid search) to ensure a stream-lined customer path
  • Work across marketing channels to identify segmentation and targeting opportunities to capitalize on via marketing messaging and promotion 
  • Own tech prioritization for maintenance needs on .com experience
  • Lead brand marketing promotional planning and meetings to keep teams informed of marketing planning in advance
  • Translate customer and market insights into innovative approaches allowing the company to serve its customers better
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders beyond digital based on key strategies and success metrics to enhance business performance and productivity
  • Work collaboratively with our in-house design team, offering feedback when needed to maintain cohesive brand look and feel across channels
  • Assist in defining omnichannel product/feature experiences from .com perspective, helping tech guidance and providing feature buildout feedback
  • Assist in direct mail definition and concept planning at brand level

Qualifications

Our Next eCommerce Manager Has:

  • 4-6 years ecommerce, digital marketing, digital product management, or related experience
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) 
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize accordingly
  • Must work well in a team environment with a high degree of independent thinking and self-responsibility.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or comparable analytics tools (Omniture, etc.) and digital performance channels (SEO, SEM, Email, etC)
  • Basic HTML knowledge and/or experience with CMS tool
  • Maintains the attitude that nothing is outside my job description

Additionally It's Preferred That You Have:

  • A degree (BS/BA) in Business/Marketing, Digital Marketing, or equivalent 
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of basic retail concepts (including retail math) 
  • Experience working in JIRA and/or Confluence (a plus!) 
  • Understanding of motorcycle industry and/or rider product knowledge
