Job Description

As a key member of the Support Team you will be responsible for providing Level 3 technical support for an energy related software product. In this role, you will work closely with implementation representatives  to resolve any software related issues. You will also work close to the development team in order to to determine if a change is needed in the product or a configuration needs to be adjusted or fixed.

This role is a good opportunity for someone with a Software QA background looking to expand his/her technical knowledge and area of expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the product functionalities, structure and how a problem affects other components
  • Prioritize a queue of reported issues and maintain the support backlog
  • Analyse and filter support issues and based on the situation, correct the code for issues or redirect to development engineers
  • Write concise, accurate technical analysis to bring management up to speed
  • Interact with many people from different countries, backgrounds, and cultures, both internally and with customers.

Qualifications

  • Technology-related University degree: Software Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Network, or other related areas
  • 1+ years of experience technology and customer-facing roles (e.g.Software QA, Technical Support)
  • Interest in communicating with people with different background (fluency in English)
  • Ability to effectively prioritise severity and adjust workflow based on incoming info
  • Ability to work independently on problem investigation and task management
  • Exceptionally strong and tenacious problem solving and analytical skills.

Will be considered as a plus:

  • the ability to read and write basic Python code
  • familiarity with Cloud platforms
