We are a scale-up with a solid technical foundation — however, both the UX/design team and front-end team are relatively new. That means, that we are looking forward to you making an impact on our team, and ways of working.

You’ll be joining a small but growing design team, which works very closely with engineering, continuously improving both foundational elements and features. When making major changes, like a new feature, we break up into teams of both designers and developers, focusing solely on the task at hand, side by side.

Your responsibilities will include

• Overall responsibility for design on selected projects that will ultimately impact the experience our customers have with our products and services
• Collaborate and communicate design decisions to designers, developers, and the overall organization
• Challenge and test the decisions and directions of our projects to ensure everyone is working towards the right direction
• Ensuring designs meet user needs and are user-friendly: Work alongside the UX designer and product manager to partake in discovery research and regular usability testing
• An experimental approach to design and use insight/data to inform design decisions over opinion

Skills we are looking for

• Strong sense of design hierarchy
• Good communication skills
• Testing concepts with real users
• Likes to continuously improve the same awesome products
• Can juggle aesthetics and functionality
• Strong attention to detail
• Well-practiced in the basics of visual design
• Project management skills to ensure successful execution of projects within deadlines
• Confidence to work side-by-side with developers, instead of handing over pixel-perfect work

It would be extra cool if you

• Have basic coding skills
• Have experience with web accessibility
• Have worked with a design system
• Will contribute to an internal design community and overall culture
