We are looking for an eager result-oriented professional with a strong “hunter” and commercial mindset to join our global growth team in Copenhagen. Whilst you strive to reach our ambitious goals, it is important for us that your approach this role with an ‘expert mindset’, behaving like a trusted advisor; matching our clients with the right solution.

Your key responsibilities

  • Generate, pursue, and close new clients with target companies.
  • Make presentations to senior managers and decision-makers.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from lead-generating to closing new clients.
  • Accomplish annual revenue targets.
  • Travel worldwide, meet potential clients and participate in various conferences and exhibitions.

Your main tasks will be generating leads, establishing and understanding the potential client’s challenges, needs, and requirements, and conveying how our solutions will help them.

Professional skills and experience

  • English on a business level – both verbal and written – is essential.
  • Preferably a minimum of 5 years of experience in the shipping industry either working as an operator, within chartering, or as a marine engineer or similar.
  • Extensive network to the owner and operator side of the shipping industry within Bulk, Tank, or MPP is an advantage.

Your personal qualifications

  • Ability to act individually but work as a team player in a global Growth Team.
  • First-class relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A strong “hunter” mindset, and excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Strong execution skills.
