Job Description

CM Labs is seeking a Field Application Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in an engineering software sales environment. This is a unique opportunity to help pioneer new technologies in simulation and 3D visualization for equipment design, operations and training. The successful candidate will conduct technical presentations and demonstrations of our software and simulator solutions to clients worldwide.

 

Responsibilities

 

·       Work with the sales team to promote, present and demonstrate Vortex software and Vortex training solutions to prospects and clients

·       Work with the marketing team to build product demonstrations and sales support materials

·       Work with the business development team on technical solutions for strategic accounts

·       Represent CM Labs solutions at tradeshows, including show set-up and technical support

·       Work with the product, sales and marketing team to articulate features and benefits of Vortex software

·       Conduct Vortex software training with customers

·       Keep current with technology trends, market direction and competitive landscape

 

Qualifications

 

·       Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering degree

·       2 years of experience with engineering software sales or customer support

·       A strong sense of customer service, motivated by client success

·       Experience in working with engineering simulation software, or mechanical dynamics is an asset

·       Experience with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks is an asset

·       General experience and knowledge of heavy equipment is an asset

·       Excel at relationship building and communication with client technical staff

·       Quick learning mindset in a multi-disciplinary environment

·       Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Lua)

·       Strong sense of responsibility and commitment

·       The candidates must have excellent English language oral and written communications skills

 

Travel Requirements

This position requires approximately 25% of time spent in international travel.
