Would you like to join a dynamic team that puts BIM at the heart of its projects and constantly pushes the boundaries of best practices? CIMA+ is looking for a BIM professional to collaborate with our Building teams on a wide variety of exciting projects.

With your BIM experience, you will play a key role in implementing and developing our BIM processes. You will assist the 3D modelling teams in applying BIM practices, provide strategic technical support, and actively participate in the continuous improvement of work methods.

You will also contribute to the creation and optimization of production tools (families, blocks, templates, BIM management plans, etc.) while ensuring compliance with the drawing and modelling standards specific to our services.

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Ensure multidisciplinary coordination of mechanical and electrical models.
  • Verify the application of BIM processes specifically to mechanical and electrical disciplines in multidisciplinary projects.
  • Participate in improving BIM processes specifically to mechanical and electrical disciplines for the entire building sector.
  • Resolve interdisciplinary issues in collaboration with BIM coordinators from other disciplines.
  • Manage mechanical and electrical models on the ACC platform.
  • Create families, ensure they are updated, and provide content for the REVIT tool.
  • Provide technical support to users of the Autodesk suite.

Qualifications

  • Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in building mechanics or other training relevant to the position.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in BIM coordination.
  • Sufficient knowledge of electrical and building mechanics.
  • Technical knowledge to provide technical support for Autodesk and the ACC platform.
  • Knowledge of the ACC platform.
  • Knowledge of Dynamo (an asset).
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English; bilingualism is an essential requirement for this position, as it enables effective collaboration with our various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies across the country.
