As an intern on our telecommunications team, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside our passionate professionals working with several clients across Canada to build and renew their communications networks. These projects include:        

• Communications for renewable energy sites and transit electrification  
• Fiber optic to the Home (FTTH) network design and delivery 
• IT/OT networks, telephony, Wi-Fi, Cellular, fibre optic

Primary responsibilities 

• Assist Sr. Engineers in overseeing project delivery.  
• Attend site surveys and client meetings 
• Assist in drafting drawing deliverables and spec documents 
• Review deliverable drafts with Sr. Engineers to take from concept to completion 
• Track deliverables 
• Review project documentation, vendor guidelines, equipment spec sheets

• Student presently enrolled in a Bachelor of Computer, Electronic or Software Engineering or another relevant field 
• Have passion and interest in communication systems 
• Have basic knowledge of IP communication protocols 
• Familiarity with basic LAN or WAN architectures, IT vs. OT networking principles (asset) 
• Skilled with MS Office applications and MS Visio 

The salary for this position ranges from $24.15 to $30.45 per hour, depending on your academic profile, the number of credits earned, and your previous co-op or internship experience. The final offer and salary may be adjusted based on your unique profile.
