SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Up to £50k per annum, dependent upon experience
An exciting opportunity has arisen in CIMA for a Social Media Manager. This role is based at our offices at the Helicon, London. Reporting to the Head of Customer Marketing the Social Media Manager will lead the development, planning and delivery of key global digital marketing campaigns.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
You will be required to ensure that digital marketing campaigns are delivered on time, to budget and meet agreed KPIs. Working with the Head of Customer Marketing, you will provide digital marketing input to marketing programme managers whilst delivering and oversee the implementation of a forward looking social media strategy, and quality assure social media outputs. You will lead on the development and planning of global multi-channel digital campaigns for strategic marketing projects as identified with marketing programme managers. This will include budgetary control of digital marketing campaigns, you will provide digital marketing advice and input to marketing programme managers to facilitate the smooth delivery of marketing activity and projects across CIMA’s digital platforms.
This role also has responsibility for line managing a Social Media Executive providing support, guidance and developing their potential to achieve individual and team objectives.
Social Media:
• Quality assure all social media outputs and provide recommendations and insights to projects to ensure they are social and digital friendly
• Recommend and onboard the most appropriate social media tools (listening, moderation, posting and reporting)
• Monitor and comment on social media trends and application and be aware of market changes and developments
Qualifications
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Experience of running global multi-channel digital marketing campaigns
• Understanding of the role of social media and how this interacts with other channels
• Technical skills in web editing (including HTML and image editing)
• Understanding of content management systems
• Expert understanding of social media platforms including Twitter, Linkedin and Facebook
• Understanding of Radian6 or other social media tools
• Experience managing cross-functional teams across departments
• Excellent relationship management, influencing and persuasion skills
• Self-motivated individual; a good team player
Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
• Experience of managing social media channels in a corporate environment
• Experience of delivering digital campaigns
• Experience of writing copy for public dissemination
