Job Description
Interior Design Firm has an opportunity for someone to join our growing team in the role of Interior Designer within our FFE Studio. In this position you will create, manage and deliver multiple complex customized FFE projects working closely with other designers and project managers
- Responsible for multiple projects from FFE kickoff through installation and punch lists.
- Coordinate with production team finish plans, specifications, and material selections.
- Support and assist in the development of space planning concepts.
- Determine selection and specification of all FFE product and accessories.
- Create FFE Presentations for client approval that support the conceptual design aesthetic.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and others to develop leading edge, innovative interior design solutions.
- Training and mentoring FFE members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited institution or combination of education and experience.
- 4 -8 years of experience as Interior Designer Project Manager of multiple projects.
- Experience in multi-family, commercial and/or hospitality industries.
- Highly developed skills with AutoCAD, a must, and strong knowledge of Adobe Suite (especially Photoshop), MS Office (especially MS PowerPoint), MS Project a plus etc.
- Working knowledge of modeling software (Sketch-up, Revit, 3D Studios, Rhino 3-D, etc.)
- Ability to travel
