Job Description

We are hiring a maintenance technician to join our maintenance team. You will inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools.

Maintenance technician will have a variety of job duties and must have some experience in each area of electrical, carpentry and plumbing. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct preventative maintenance and inspection of building and grounds for maintenance issues. 

Duties for preventative maintenance may include the following:

  • Repair of doors/locks
  • Windows
  • Ceilings
  • Roofs
  • Signs
  • Mechanical equipment
  • Furniture
  • Electrical systems
  • Plumbing systems
  • Generators/UPS systems
  • Replacement of bulbs and ballasts
  • Painting
  • Light carpentry work
  • Moving furniture/files
  • Trash pickup of parking/grounds
  • Snow removal
  • Ensure all make-ready repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule.
  • Assist in trouble shooting maintenance problems and make recommendations for correction.
  • Maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance through use of the work order system. 
  • Keep accurate records on all expenditures.
  • Complete Monthly and Quarterly Property Inspections.

Qualifications

  • Some computer experience is required in order to work through work order system by opening, updating and closing work orders along with bank’s accounting system.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Understanding of a variety of repair techniques and tool operation
  • Well Organized
  • Use of own tools
  • Use of own vehicle
  • 3-5 Years of Experience
