Chapman Tate associates are seeking a Business Development Manager for a leading IT Reseller with offices spread across of all of UK. They are partnered up with several household brands within various sectors.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Technical Account Manager, who wants to take the next step within their sales career. This role will see you working closely with several leading their leading Vendors and creating partnerships with new and existing clients.
This IT provider has a strong presence in the market working alongside large organisations. They are now expanding the sales team and seeking someone who can develop new business, as well as manage key accounts to their full potential.
Responsibilities will include:
•Maintains existing customer and build new relationships based around various selling methods and offer technical assistance to customers.
•Prospecting and qualifying new customers and selling through strategic partners
•Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions
•Work in alignment with relevant Vendors & Partners knowledge and experience
•Develop strong knowledge in licensing, negotiation and relationship skills.
Must have the following:
•A proven IT sales track record, ideally in high-end products and solutions
•Professional sales experience in Servers or Storage especially HP, Dell or NetApp.
•Strong technical knowledge around Servers and Storage.
•Ability to build relationships and quickly develop trust with C-level executives
•Self-motivated and ambitious
•Ability to identify customer needs and construct a solution
•A proven ability to develop and close business opportunities
