Job Description

We are looking for a talented HR Data Analyst with fresh perspectives and a deep curiosity to join our global HR team! 

As a key player in our digital HR transformation at CGG, you'll be responsible for advanced data analysis of Human Capital and cross-functional information. By uncovering trends and patterns in HR data, you'll provide insightful reports and support strategic business decisions across the organization. You'll also be instrumental in developing solutions to expand People Analytics initiatives throughout CGG.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure data integrity by implementing quality checks and processes.
  • Analyze and interpret HR and People data to enhance our people strategies through high-quality, compelling analytics.
  • Develop and maintain standard and ad-hoc HR & people reports, scorecards, dashboards, executive presentations, and analyses on key HR & people metrics in a concise and meaningful manner.
  • Collaborate with HR and managers to identify key people trends and predictive insights.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making in HR and overall business strategy.
  • Coordinate and oversee HR function budgeting in staffing and costs alongside the financial controller.
  • Drive Automation, Data Governance, and Quality of Insights in collaboration with HR and IT teams, particularly within the Workday environment.
  • Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the continuous transformation of our visualizations to align with business models.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at achieving cost savings and process efficiencies. Become an expert in all of Workday's report writing tools.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in people analytics.

Qualifications

Degree in Finance, Statistics, HR, or a related field

Skills and Experiences 

  • 5+ years of experience in HR analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data.
  • Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools, including Workday, MicroStrategy, Oracle, Cegedim, and ADP
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex data in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver projects on time and within budget in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to influence, interact, and collaborate with senior management and technical resources both internally and externally.
  • Proficient in both French and English languages.
