Job Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Financial Controller joining our Group Financial Planning & Analysis team to take the Controlling of the Corporate perimeter. Your role consists of providing support for decision-making, providing valuable insight to management when steering the group's performance.

Controlling the group's operating cost base is in our priorities. The activities of Corporate functions (HR, Legal, Finance, IT, etc.) and Corporate operations (Acquisitions, Divestitures, Group treasury operations) generate significant flows to be monitored, budgeted and forecasted.

Your Main Responsibilities :

In a billion-dollar revenue Group, listed on the SBF 120, your main responsibilities will be to:

  1.  Monthly/Quarterly Closing accounts:
  • Participate in periodic closings on the corporate scope in collaboration with accounting team to ensure the correct costs imputation,
  • Ensure integrity of the finance reporting by functions on a monthly and quarterly basis (Finance, Legal, HR, IT, etc.),
  • Manage policy and process of sovereign cost allocations to the business lines and guarantee optimal analytical view across the group (IT, Shared services, rent buildings, Other regional costs, etc.),

     2 . Management and reporting of the corporate cost base:

  • Review permanently recorded and non-recorded costs of all entities with sovereign cost in conjunction with accounting team,
  • Production of consolidated monthly reports for functions Executives,
  • Analysis of variances vs initial budget, vs updated budget and vs Last Year in P&L and for Working Capital,
  • Preparation and animation of quarterly reviews of results and landings and presentation to CFO and Group Controller,
  • Ensure proper follow up of the cash flow in actual and in forecast on the scope, 

      3. Budget and business plan:

  • Participation in the budget and strategic plan preparation process (review with functions directors, calendar, templates,),
  • Quarterly Update of budget and plan via three budget reviews,
  • Overall summary and presentation of the budget and BP of Corporate scope to CEO and CFO,

      4. Ad hoc:

  • Take part in various cross-functional working groups (development of our ERP, transformation of management control, etc.),

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in finance or accounting from Business School or University,
  • 8+ years of experience in reporting/controlling department of listed company,
  • Proven sense of organization, structured and curious,
  • Handling confidential information,
  • Strong communication skills, team spirit
  • Ability to pass on knowledge: direct supervision of one apprentice,
  • Strong appetite for financial systems and tools (ERP, EPM, Excel and PPT),
  • Fluent in French and English.
