Job Description

Reporting to the Tax Manager and Assistant, this position will deal with tax computations, filing of tax returns, organization of CGG files related to administrative and judicial tax proceedings and assistance to the other team members of the tax department.

  • Prepare calculations to determine tax basis and the correspondent amounts payable of Withholding taxes (ISS, IRRF, CSRF and PIS/COFINS/CSLL), Service Tax (ISS),
  • Prepare the filling of CGG tax accessory obligations (DARM, DARF, PerDcomp, , DCTFand DIRF );
  • Keeping registers in tax books (ISS book);- Assisting the Tax Manager/Assistant in attending Brazilian tax audits (from tax authorities and both internal and external audits);
  • Organization of CGG files related to administrative and judicial tax proceedings;
  • Keep abreast of changes in local legislation that could have an impact on our activities on a weekly basis; and
  • Assisting the Brazilian Tax Manager in other issues that are relevant to CGG.

Required:

  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in written and orally
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Hands-on, organized and strongly committed with team work
  • No previous internship experience is required

Desired:

  • Solid computer knowledge (Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Qualifications

Typical Background:

Currently attending the second or third year of graduation in Accounting, Administration, Law or any related course.
