Job Description

Our future marketing lead will primarily be responsible for building and leading the marketing activity of CGG’s digital transformation group, Data hub. 
This role newly created will focus on developing a wider awareness and understanding of Data Hub within existing and new markets in order to facilitate effective and rapid business development. You will work alongside our technical operations teams in order to fully understand our capabilities and develop an effective marketing strategy that will assist with the growth of this exciting new business. 

You can be based remotely or in one of our hub locations (North Wales or Crawley). There may on occasion, be the requirement to travel/work at other locations in the UK or abroad.


Principal Accountabilities
•    Research and analyse market trends, pricing, competition, and other relevant information to form a marketing strategy and associated plans
•    Implement marketing initiatives in collaboration with the operations, internal marketing and business development teams
•    Identify appropriate industry tradeshows and lead campaigns to ensure we maximise visibility at these
•    Work closely with the sales and business development teams to build and deliver a consistent messaging, attract new clients and retain our current ones
•    Supervise the creative development of promotional materials, website and social media content, and other marketing-related projects
•    Evaluate and review marketing campaigns, advertising and SEO to ensure effectiveness and adjust the existing plans to the outcomes of these review
•    Track marketing performance and ROI

•    Strong analytical skills and ability to build impactful reports 
•    Excellent communication and collaboration skills
•    An enthusiastic attitude towards learning and flexibility to adapt to new challenges or changes in direction
•    Proven experience managing marketing campaigns across digital channels
•    Strong project manager 
•    Autonomous self-starter
 

 

Qualifications

  • Educated to a Master’s degree in business, marketing or similar
  • Experience in building a marketing strategy from scratch
  • Experience delivering effective marketing strategy in a digital industry
