Job Description

  • Develop algorithms and workflows designed to solve specific problems related to seismic imaging and inversion.
  • Prepare and present scientific publications at international conferences and workshops.
  • Support production teams with existing and new technologies.
  • Keep up to date by reading technical publications and attending conferences/workshops/seminars.
  • Promote new technologies by interacting with clients.

Qualifications

  • MSc/PhD in Geophysics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related technical field.
  • Comfortable with mathematical and abstract concepts.
  • Capable of solving complex problems with great analytical skills.
  • Excellent coding skills in one or more programming languages (such as C/C++, FORTRAN and Python).
  • Knowledge of CUDA and HPC (MPI, multi-thread, GPU, etc.) would be a plus.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Innovative mindset and eager to learn. Self-driven and independent.
  • Experience with geophysical problems, wave propagation, inversion and signal processing would be a plus.
