Job Description

Reporting to the to the EAME Sales Manager the post holder will be responsible for supporting sales and business development teams across geoscience with the particular focus on the Energy Transition and Environment business line. This role would suit someone wanting to develop a career in sales.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Assisting in the preparation of proposals, likely to include preparing template according to the clients brief, populating with information provided by the Regional Manager
  • General administrative support to sales and business developers across Geoscience
  • Preparing internal cost forms
  • Help to monitor our competition across ETE - liaising with the managers & keeping the info up to date
  • Adding new opportunities and awards to all internal database (CRM), and ensuring appropriate checks and approvals are obtained
  • Creating project folders, and liaising with IT for new projects and recording and archiving completed projects
  • Supporting Project Managers with QA processes
  • Co-ordinating project invoicing and assisting in debt collection when needed
  • Requesting purchase orders
  • Providing input into reporting with regards proposals statistics
  • To be a client contact for client queries and support
  • Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers
  • New subcontractor/supplier/client registration
  • Maintain QA documents, including competency records
  • To attend training and development courses/workshops as deemed necessary
  • Work in accordance with quality, security, and health and safety processes
  • To be part of a pro-active team of staff responsible for delivering a high-quality customer-focused professional service

  • A-Level of further education courses
  • Sales and customer support experience valuable but not required
  • IT qualifications
