Job Overview

We are looking for a talented individual to join our Multi-Client New Ventures (MCNV) team as a Machine Learning Engineer. Working closely with the MCNV Data Management director, you will play a vital role in the continual development of our artificial intelligence tools and systems. You will work closely with software developers and the subject matter experts in our geoscience and data management teams to identify potential opportunities and implement machine learning and deep learning solutions for our client offerings.  As an integral member of our team, we highly encourage the contribution of ideas and drive in the generation of new concepts, to maintain our outstanding leadership position for technology and service delivery in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing machine learning systems to identify and develop solutions according to requirements
• Research and implement appropriate Machine Learning algorithms and tools, and mitigate against potential downtime
• Select appropriate data representation methods for various structured, semi-structured and unstructured databases
• Study and transform data science prototypes by regularly performing statistical analysis and refining rules based on test results
• Capable to leverage ML/AI experience to manage other technical professionals in implementing ML solutions

Key Skills & Experience

• At minimum BSc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other related technical discipline
• Strong enterprise project experience with data science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning
• A passion and aptitude for programming and statistics, and enthusiasm for analytical and problem-solving challenges
• Strong experience in developing and debugging in Python and preferably at least one of other main languages (C/C++/ R / Java)
• Proven experience creating deep learning frameworks and usage of DL libraries (TensorFlow/Pytorch)
• Strong understanding of Data structuring – webs craping, data mining, clustering & classification
• Ability to design, build and manage project deadlines
• An enthusiastic attitude towards learning and flexibility to adapt to new challenges or fast-paced changes on projects
• Ability to take an inclusive approach working with a global organization
• Ability to innovate and have fun through collaboration and generation of ideas which lead to enhancements of our workflows
• A trustworthy and dependable team player, able to operate independently and demonstrating high productivity
