Job Description

                                    

Performs general electronic testing and calibration of down-hole gauges

Overall Characteristics

     
  • Read and understand drawings and written procedures. 
  • Test and inspect products per Sercel-GRCs requirements.
  • Basic electronics troubleshooting.

Managerial Characteristics

No managerial responsibilities.

Direction Received

Receives close supervision, direction, andapproval from the Production Supervisor.

Communication Skills

                                                

Must be able to speak and read English, be able to proficiently communicate with co-workers and supervisors. Must be able to use Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Key Job Responsibilities

Read and interpret production drawings and procedures.  Test and inspect products per these instructions with minimal supervision.

  1. Load and unload gauges from the testing ovens.

  2. Fills out Manufacturing paperwork, and complete
    quality checks as required.

  3. Performs quality inspection checks including, but not limited to, Ohm meters, computer software tests, and visual inspections.

  4. Proficient at reading and interpreting wiring diagrams.

  5. Understands basic testing and electronic concepts.

  6. Performs data entry

  7. Keep work station in a clean and organized manner on a daily basis.

  8. Perform other related duties as assigned,needed, or required.   



















Qualifications


KEY COMPETENCIES 

Basic electronics

General understanding of testing, drawings,
and inspection.

Basic understanding of manufacturing
principles.

Physical Demands

Must be able to stand for 10 hours

Must be able to consistently lift up to 35lbs

Light to moderate physical effort required, including bending, lifting, pushing and stooping

Frequent use of hands to handle tools, product / equipment and controls.


Prerequisites


HS Diploma or equivalent

Good Computer Operation skills

Electronic background preferred
