To support our continued growth, CFAM has a position available for an accountable and self-motivated Project Engineer with strong engineering and project knowledge.

Job Description

  • Lead various projects simultaneously
  • Design and analyze technical process flow diagrams based on project proposals
  • Capture client needs accurately and set-up project requirements
  • Compile equipment lists from project proposals and process flow diagrams
  • Provide technical expertise and input during plant layout and design
  • Monitor progress on project tasks and compile progress reports
  • Ensure all project documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
  • Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings
  • Analyse commercial documents such as proposals, quotes, and contracts and compile summaries
  • Compile collection notes, customs documents for shipping of various equipment in your projects to meet requirements for each shipment
  • Monitor different departments for compliance and align with the customer requirements
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualification Requirements: B. Tech/B. Eng/B. Sc Mechanical Engineering
  • Or B. Tech Project Management with strong technical engineering ability
  • Strong machinery manufacturing industry background

Additional Information

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including MS Office products such as MS visio, excel, word and projects
  • Experience with CAD software such as Solidworks and AutoCAD will be advantageous
  • Experience on Jira Atlassian operating will be advantageous 
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to always maintain discretion and confidentiality
  • Time management skills and organizational skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge file management, transcription and other administrative procedures
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects in a technical environment.
