As a project driven company, we are seeking a hard-working and skilled Kitting Assistant - Bill of Material to join our Procurement Team to ensure that the manufacturing processes/phases are as efficient, safe, and consistent as possible.

Job Description

  • Material kitting, kitting together the various parts, spaces, and raw materials needed to create a CFAM product. 
  • Product kitting, kitting that involves combining finished goods/parts/equipment to create a new CFAM product.
  • Kit all the required parts/spares/material and deliver them to the required department
  • Keep the kitting area clean
  • Update Zebra Systems with progress of kitting as per project as well as location of the goods you have kit
  • Use Zebra System to track kitted goods
  • Label or tag everything that is in each kit
  • During kitting take careful consideration that the assembler doesn’t need to dig into the bottom of a very large box to find the first item they need
  • Solve shortage or quality issues of spares/parts 
  • Build complete assembly kits and dispatch them in full and on time

Qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • Supply Chain Management Qualification or equivalent
  • Experience in warehouse and/or Parts kitting

Additional Information

Key skills required:

  • High quality of work is carried out and ability to meet deadlines
  • Competency in Microsoft packages
  • Knowledge of warehouse or parts kitting.
  • Attention to detail orientated: quality and precision focused
  • Have ability to build complete assemblies
