This opportunity for an Engineer | Structural (m/f/d) will be integrated into the Aeronautics team.
Job Description
- Develop tools/methodologies to support the structural analysis process.
- Perform calculation and validation steps for components/products under provided load cases.
- Prepare and develop FEM models from CAD geometries.
- Critical post-processing and reporting of analysis’ results to detect errors and apply/propose corrective actions.
- Identify issues and propose/develop improvements to meet established requirements, targets, or to solve problems.
- Provide the manager with any requested information for planning, execution or control of technical activities such as:
- The activities’ plan definition and the reporting and tracking of project tasks’ status.
- Provide work estimates and projections.
- Identify goals and requirements, as well as determine the most. appropriate analysis for each case (analytical, numerical, mixed, static, etc.).
- Alert to potential problems, deviations and needs.
- Support the test and certification campaigns.
- Contribute towards the creation of project reports and any other relevant. certification documentation.
Qualifications
- Academic background in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics or equivalent.
- Proven experience in the structural sizing and/or approval of components/products.
- Previous experience working with Hyperworks, Ansys, MSOffice (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar tools.
- Good programming skills in C++, Python and VBA.
- Good knowledge of materials and production techniques.
- Hand-on experience with CAD software (CATIA, Siemens Nx) is a plus.
- Good interpersonal skills to work within a diverse team, in rigorous and demanding projects, where analytical and critical thinking, as well as problem-solving skills are essential.
- Fluent in English.
