This opportunity for an Engineer | Aircraft Loads, Mass and Balance (m/f/d) will be integrated into the Aeronautics team.

• Develop tools/methodologies (analytical, models, etc.) to support the aerodynamic analysis process
• Perform calculation and validation steps for components/products under provided load cases
• Prepare and develop representative FE models from CAD geometries to perform CFD analysis
• Critical post-processing and reporting of analysis’ results to detect errors and apply/propose corrections
• Identify issues and propose/develop improvements to meet established requirements, targets, or to solve problems
• Provide the manager with any requested information for planning, execution or control of technical activities such as:
  • The activities’ plan definition and the reporting and tracking of project tasks’ status
  • Provide work estimates and projections
  • Identify goals and requirements as well as determine the most appropriate analysis for each case (analytical, numerical, mixed, etc.)
  • Alert to potential problems, deviations and needs
• Support the test and certification campaigns required to achieve aircraft certification
• Contribute towards the creation of project reports and any other relevant certification documentation

• MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics or equivalent
• Proven experience with aerodynamic calculation tools and processes
• Previous experience with CFD tools (Ansys Fluent, Altair Acusolve), MSOffice (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar
• Good programming skills in C++, Python, Fortran and VBA
• Good knowledge of materials and production techniques
• Hands-on experience with CAD software (CATIA, Siemens Nx) is a plus
• Good interpersonal skills to work within a diverse team, in rigorous and demanding projects, where analytical and critical thinking, as well as problem-solving skills are essential
