This opportunity for an Engineer | Structural  (m/f/d) will be integrated into the Aeronautics team.

Job Description

  • Develop tools/methodologies to support the structural analysis process
  • Performa calculation and validation steps for components/products under provided load cases
  • Prepare and develop FEM models from CAD geometries
  • Critical post-processing and reporting of analysis’ results to detect errors and apply/propose corrective actions
  • Identify issues and propose/develop improvements to meet established requirements, targets, or to solve problems
  • Provide the manager with any requested information for planning, execution or control of technical activities such as:
    • The activities’ plan definition and the reporting and tracking of project tasks’ status
    • Provide work estimates and projections
    • Identify goals and requirements, as well as determine the most appropriate analysis for each case (analytical, numerical, mixed, static, etc.)
  • Alert to potential problems, deviations and needs
  • Support the test and certification campaigns
  • Contribute towards the creation of project reports and any other relevant certification documentation

Qualifications

  • MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics or equivalent
  • Proven experience in the structural sizing and/or approval of components/products
  • Previous experience working with Hyperworks, Ansys, MSOffice (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar tools
  • Good programming skills in C++, Python and VBA
  • Good knowledge of materials and production techniques
  • Hand-on experience with CAD software (CATIA, Siemens Nx) is a plus
  • Good interpersonal skills to work within a diverse team, in rigorous and demanding projects, where analytical and critical thinking, as well as problem-solving skills are essential
  • Fluent in English
