We are deploying infrastructure for 5G Networks. A telecommunications Network deployment startup with strategic support to the nationwide 5G deployments, helping Enterprises, OEMs and wireless operators deploy public and private connectivity solutions.

Job Description

The RAN Integration Engineer will be remotely responsible for New and existing Technologies integrations to the network. LTE & 5G/4G/3G Integrations as per requirements
Supporting East Coast (Can work remote, must reside in the US, supporting EST zone).
Providing remote support for Field Engineers, including Integrations, Call testing & troubleshooting.

 

Responsibilities:

  • The RAN Engineer will provide support and guidance on networks and maintaining the existing
  • Will provide hardware and software support.
  • The RAN Engineer will perform network analysis to troubleshoot issues and coordinate communications between the customer, operations team and field support systems network elements by providing remote assistance.
  • The engineer will support for 5G, LTE and small cell projects across all Ericsson OEM installations
  • Follow and work with protocols like VoLTE and ViLTE, RF Sharing, Mixed Mode configurations
  • Read RFDS/plumbing diagram and interpret Method of Procedure (MOP)
  • Work with with GSM, WCDMA, and LTE architectures.
  • Creating and executing test cases and organizing trials of a network
  • Work on OSS and NEM to configure parameters and new site scripts
  • Scrub the site for GP audits

Qualifications

  • Must have solid Ericsson 3g/4g RAN integration experience. 5G highly preferred 
  • 5+ years of experience handling bridges/troubleshooting with great communication skills.
  • Ericsson RAN Troubleshooting (5G, 4G, 3G, GSM)
  • Ericsson OSS/ENM experience (5G, 4G, 3G, GSM)
  • Script Creation/Script Augmentation / SIF Generation
  • Carrier Systems and Tools Huge Plus
  • Python Scripting / Amos Scripting Huge Plus
  • Team Player/ Mentoring Capability when needed / MOP Creation
  • Always connected mentality while working on shift (IM/Email responses) Bridges
  • Night and Weekend Work Expected/ Flexible Shifts
