Job Description

**By applying to this job, you are applying for the 2026 SPRING TURNAROUND. This is short term temporary work with our client for their Turnaround in May**

Details:

  • Start Date: Intake during April to start May 4, 2026
  • Duration: The project is expected to last 3 weeks (subject to change) with the potential to roll over to another TA in June.
  • Location: Camp Accomodations with our client
  • Shift: 
  • Overtime: Overtime eligible! Shifts are based on an 8/44 rule.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist welders with setup and breakdown of field equipment
  • Prepare materials for welding (grinding, cleaning, cutting)
  • Handle, carry, and position steel and other materials
  • Operate basic hand and power tools
  • Load and unload trucks with tools and materials
  • Maintain clean and safe job sites
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
  • Support crew members with general labor tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Willingness to travel to job sites
  • Basic knowledge of tools and construction equipment preferred
  • Strong work ethic and punctuality required
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers license (non GDL) and clean 5 year drivers abstract
  • Ability to pass pre-employment alcohol and drug testing booked by CEDA

Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Understanding of welding procedures and structural fabrication
