Job Description

CEDA is currently seeking a Supervisor for our Leak Seal team. The candidate can be based at any of our locations in Alberta but must be willing to travel to across the province. Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follows and ensures compliance to all company policies and procedures
  • Monitors projects to ensure job completion in an efficient, cost effective, and most importantly, safe manner
  • Act as the main contact for leak seal crew and site leadership team
  • Provide leadership and direction to employees by ensuring that employees understand CEDA’s vision for the future
  • Coordinate manpower and equipment requirements
  • Ensure safety for all team members
  • Respond to emergencies as required that can occur outside of your shift schedule
  • Provide quality services to our clients
  • Work as part of a team and follow direction from management
  • Other duties as assigned

Role Specifications

  • 1-3 years’ in a leadership role is required
  • 3-5 years’ experience leak sealing is required
  • Mechanically inclined with a working knowledge of Specialty services such as;
    • Seal leaks and repair piping systems and vessels
    • Corrosion protection repair
    • Line freeze
    • Hot tap
    • Control bolting
    • Test and pipe isolations
    • Cold cutting
  • Valid Class 5 drivers licence
  • Clean and current driver's abstract (less than 5 demerits in the last 3 years)
  • Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
  • Enjoy working outdoors even in harsh weather conditions
  • You have a natural ability to lead crews where you can share a laugh, do the challenging work and get the job done safely
