Job Description
We're looking for a Brand Art Director to define and evolve the art direction for The Witcher marketing, branding, and communication initiatives.
In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the visual consistency, creative excellence, and artistic quality of assets developed across Integrated Marketing Communications. Working closely with Marketing, Game Development, Franchise, Product Development teams, agencies, and other external partners, you'll establish and evolve creative standards, support the execution of brand strategies, and act as the key guardian of The Witcher's visual identity across all marketing touchpoints.
Daily Responsibilities
- Create the overarching visual vision and strategy for The Witcher marketing, branding, and communication initiatives, ensuring alignment with the game vision and CD PROJEKT RED's strategic direction.
- Work closely with the Brand Creative Director, Game Development teams, Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, Franchise, and other cross-functional teams to define and evolve the art direction for marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve visual standards, brand guidelines, style guides, creative frameworks, and ways of working across Integrated Marketing Communications.
- Ensure the visual consistency, artistic quality, and creative excellence of marketing, branding, and communication assets across all channels.
- Oversee the quality and consistency of creative assets produced by internal teams, agencies, and external partners.
- Partner with Game Development teams to ensure marketing assets accurately reflect each game's creative vision.
- Review and approve key creative assets before publication or external delivery, providing clear and actionable creative feedback.
- Provide guidance in art direction, visual design, and brand expression to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Drive continuous improvement by defining creative best practices, standards, and recommendations across the organization.
- Lead the Brand Art discipline by overseeing headcount, budget, resource planning, and the overall effectiveness and optimization of the function.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in art direction, brand design, marketing, visual communication, or a related creative discipline within the gaming industry.
- A portfolio showcasing logos, key visuals, brand style guides, or other marketing art assets created for multiple AAA titles.
- Demonstrated experience leading art or design teams within the gaming industry.
- Strong expertise in art direction, branding, visual communication, and design principles.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard creative tools.
- Experience developing and maintaining brand identity systems, visual guidelines, and creative frameworks.
- Strong understanding of marketing, creative production, digital content development processes, and game development asset pipelines.
- Extensive experience collaborating with Game Development teams to achieve a unified artistic vision.
- Deep knowledge of and passion for The Witcher games and universe.
- Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration, communication, and influencing skills.
- Strong presentation and storytelling abilities, with confidence presenting creative concepts and design rationale to stakeholders at different organizational levels.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Estimated pay range for this position: 33 300 – 45 760 PLN gross monthly. Final offers are dependent on job-related factors like experience and qualifications. This role may be eligible for a long term incentive program (option to purchase CDPR stock after the vesting period).
