As part of a larger Scanning team located in Warsaw, you'll be working closely with teammates across time zones and contributing to shared goals, workflows, and knowledge exchange.
In this hands-on role, you’ll be involved in both photogrammetry scanning sessions and post-processing. You’ll also help improve our tools, pipelines, and studio setups while building expertise in our scanning workflows. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with the Boston Motion Capture team, providing on-site support whenever needed.
Responsibilities

- Capture high-quality 3D scans of props in the studio.
- Scouting locations and conduct environment scanning.
- Process captured images into 3D assets using photogrammetry workflows.
- Capture high-quality 2D scans of materials and textures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot scanning studio equipment and hardware.
- Contribute to the development of internal tools and pipelines by researching and evaluating new technologies and workflows.
- Lend support to the Boston Motion Capture team with on-stage activities as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with photogrammetry.
- Experience with one or more photogrammetry software packages such as RealityScan and Agisoft Metashape.
- Good understanding of photography principles and camera operation.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software, including ZBrush, Maya, or Blender.
- Deep attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality scan data.
- Flexibility and an open-minded approach to problem-solving.
- Openness to feedback, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing with teammates.
Nice to have
- Experience with Unreal Engine.
- Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Practical experience using hand and power tools to build, modify, or maintain equipment and scanning setups.
- Experience working with actors, performers, or models in a studio or production environment.
- Experience with photogrammetry rigs is a plus.
