Job Description

As a Business Analyst, you will support data-informed decision-making across our products, with a strong focus on business performance, marketing initiatives, and community engagement. You will partner closely with marketing, business, and community development teams, helping them translate data into actionable insights that drive growth, retention, and product success.

This role is ideal for an analyst who enjoys working at the intersection of product usage, business metrics, and customer behavior, rather than deep game design or gameplay analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with marketing, business, and community stakeholders to understand their objectives and translate them into clear analytical needs.
  • Define, analyze, and monitor business and product KPIs such as acquisition, engagement, retention, monetization, and community activity.
  • Build, maintain, and improve dashboards and recurring reports that provide actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Conduct exploratory and ad-hoc analyses to support business decisions, marketing campaigns, and product initiatives.
  • Partner with data and technical teams to ensure reliable, consistent data collection aligned with business needs.
  • Prepare clear data presentations and recommendations for business, marketing, and leadership teams.
  • Proactively identify trends, opportunities, and risks impacting product performance and business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Data Analyst role.
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to query and combine large datasets.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of statistics and experimentation (A/B testing, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing).
  • Proven ability to turn data into clear insights and business recommendations.
  • Strong collaboration skills with non-technical stakeholders (marketing, business, community teams).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Interest in video games and digital products.
