Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Audio Programmer to join our award-winning studio. In this role, you’ll collaborate with our dedicated audio team to develop new systems and technologies that shape the audio experience across our portfolio of games. As a Senior Audio Programmer at CD PROJEKT RED, you’ll work in a dynamic, creative environment and directly influence the sound and development of critically acclaimed AAA titles.
Daily responsibilities
- Collaborating across projects to integrate and evolve our shared audio solution.
- Designing and developing innovative audio features tailored to the gameplay, stories, and worlds of games ranging from The Witcher to Cyberpunk, and beyond.
- Maintaining and optimizing existing systems in Red Engine and Unreal Engine to ensure performance and functionality.
- Supporting sound designers in audio implementation workflows.
- Coordinating with teams across departments through structured collaboration and communication to promote seamless audio integration.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional or equivalent experience in game development or relevant programming roles.
- Comfortable working in partnership with creative teams and cross-disciplinary collaborators.
- Proficient in C++ and experienced in designing scalable code systems.
- Ability to navigate and contribute to unfamiliar codebases and work across multiple systems.
- Experience working with Unreal Engine.
- Familiarity with at least one audio middleware tool (e.g., Wwise, FMOD)
Nice to have
- Shipped a AAA title.
- Experience developing for game platforms such as consoles or PC.

Working mode
- Office-First: working primarily from the Warsaw office. Our team works primarily from our Warsaw office, so we give priority to candidates who are open to relocating to Poland.
