CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Network & Systems Administrator to help shape and support the IT foundation of our growing Boston hub. You’ll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments. You’ll support our team of developers by serving as a senior escalation point for complex support issues. If you're someone who thrives on solving intricate problems, mentoring junior teammates, and building infrastructure that scales with creativity, this could be your next adventure.
Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and implement scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions (cloud, on-prem, and hybrid).
- Document network topologies, system configurations, and IT processes to ensure continuity and clarity.
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Manage virtualized infrastructure (e.g., VMware vSphere), ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, VLANs, VPNs, wireless access points, and Checkpoint firewalls.
- Monitor traffic, logs, and performance metrics to detect and resolve issues proactively.
- Implement QoS and enforce network segmentation, IDS/IPS, and access control policies.
- Manage cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP across IaaS and SaaS services.
- Handle cloud IAM policies and ensure cloud configurations follow security best practices by monitoring and optimizing cloud resource usage and spend.
- Lead the studio’s efforts in security hardening, risk assessment, and threat mitigation.
- Assist in responding to and investigating security incidents, providing remediation and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain endpoint security, vulnerability scanning, and patching programs.
- Support user onboarding/offboarding and elevate IT processes across the studio.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a systems/network administration role supporting hybrid environments.
- Deep experience with firewalls (Checkpoint preferred) and enterprise network devices.
- Thoroughly proficient in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Deep understanding of network protocols, security architecture, and systems automation.
- Clear, effective communicator with a focus on customer service and team collaboration.
- Experience mentoring junior IT staff.

Nice to haves:
- Experience with Perforce administration and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Familiarity with checkpoint firewall rules, VPNs, and security configurations.
- Hands-on vSphere deployment and optimization experience.
- Previous experience supporting game development or creative studios.
