Key Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of audit engagements from initiation to completion, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work within set timelines.
  • Critically review financial statements, workpapers, and associated documentation to adhere to professional and regulatory standards.
  • Foster strong client relationships through consistent, proactive communication and stellar service delivery.
  • Highlight and communicate audit findings, associated risks, and practical recommendations to clients and senior management.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, updated standards, and regulatory changes to offer insightful guidance to clients and team members.
  • Participate in firm-wide initiatives, including training programs, process enhancements, and business development efforts.
  • Develop, mentor, and guide junior staff members to reach their full potential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited institution.
  • Between two to eight years of experience in public accounting.
  • At Supervisor and Manager levels, an active state CPA license or an equivalent designation recognized by the firm (e.g., Chartered Professional Accountant) is required.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • Robust technical understanding of US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements and lead teams to successful completions.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and client service skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.


Preferred Areas of Practice Experience:

  • Governmental: Involving State Universities & Colleges, School Districts, Counties, Healthcare Districts, Housing Finance Authorities, Municipalities, State Agencies, Transportation Authorities, and Utility Authorities.
  • Healthcare: Including Long-term care, Senior housing, Hospitals & health systems, Physician practices, and Community-based healthcare.

Additional Information

Salary $100,000 - $130,000
