Job Description

What you will do
The Sales Operations Engineer serves as a vital connection between Axxess sales team, cross functional teams, and the supporting technology infrastructure, with the goal of ensuring operational efficiency, data accuracy, and system optimization that drive revenue growth. This role is responsible for managing, enhancing, and supporting the Salesforce Sales Cloud Professional Edition environment and the broader technology stack that underpins the sales organization. Success in this position requires consistent involvement with sales activities across regions, including monitoring dashboards, pulling key metrics, following up with users to ensure data integrity, and enabling automation where possible.

 

A strong understanding of Salesforce functionality, particularly the constraints and opportunities within Professional Edition is essential to effectively maintain, optimize, and scale the platform. The Sales Operations Engineer also collaborates closely with sales, marketing, and account management teams to ensure alignment, maximize system usage, and maintain data accuracy throughout the client journey

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Maintain Product Knowledge 

  • Stay up to date on Axxess solutions, services and competitive differentiators 

  • Continuously educate yourself to confidently demonstrate value propositions to clients. 

  • Generate and Track New Leads 

  • Use various channels to identify and attract potential clients including outbound calls, inbound leads and partner collaboration. 

  • Leverage networking, referrals, and marketing campaigns to expand reach. 

  • Qualify Opportunities 

  • Evaluate each lead to determine fit based on readiness, needs, and service alignment. Ensure proper qualification and documentation in CRM. 

  • Manage Leads and Contacts in Salesforce 

  • Enter and update all leads, contacts and account information in Salesforce ensuring data integrity and hygiene. 

  • Track and record all interactions and progress to maintain an accurate sales pipeline in the CRM. 

  • Schedule Sales Appointments 

  • Reach out to qualified leads and existing clients to schedule discovery calls and solution demonstration. 

  • Use calls, emails, and texts to coordinate and confirm appointments. 

  • Demonstrate Value Propositions 

  • Be able to discuss with prospects Axxess solutions and services. 

  • Tailor messaging to address specific client needs and challenges. 

  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitive positioning. 

  • Manage Pipeline and Coordinate Sales Activities 

  • Monitor the status of all open leads and ensure timely follow-up. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales efforts and resources. 

  • Collaborate with Team Members 

  • Meet regularly with other sales consultants and sales team. 

  • Share insights and strategies to improve sales effectiveness. 

  • Provide Sales Leadership prospect/client feedback to drive strategy 

  • Demonstrate the Axxess Way and uphold Axxess Culture 

  • Think and act like a owner at all times, lead by example 

  • Execute with innovation, excellence and a positive attitude always 

  • Always represent yourself and Axxess professionally 

  • Perform Additional Duties as Assigned 

  • Meet minimum defined Sales Consultant Metrics 

  • Utilize defined tools including Microsoft Suite, CRM and VOIP Phone System. 

  • Attend and participate in team calls. 

  • Support other sales or organizational initiatives as needed. 

  • Abide by company policies and processes 

Qualifications

 

What you bring…

  • · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related discipline required.

    · 5 + years of Salesforce Sales Cloud experience required.

    · Home Health, Home Care, Hospice and/or Palliative experience preferred.

    · Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification required.

    · Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification required.

    · Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification preferred.

    · Proficiency in data augmentation and MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    · Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple prioritie
