Job Description

CARE International in Kenya is currently seeking to recruit a highly qualified Office Assistant for the Voucher Program which aims at ensuring the process of retailer onboarding and contracting is successfully carried out in Hagadera market. He/She will work with a team of incentive staff to assist traders upload products details on Matjari market application. S/he will be expected to carry out market monitoring activities and ensure that traders are observing the contractual obligation.

Reporting to the Assistant Data Officer the Incumbent should have strong analytical, quantitative and qualitative research skills, Market analysis and Working knowledge of programme design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, Knowledge of SPSS/STATA and advanced application of excel spreadsheets, Knowledge of HAP-I and other accountability frameworks with excellent facilitation skills. 

Qualifications

Education

1.  Bachelor’s degree in social sciences
2.  Two(2)years of relevant working experience
3.  A diploma in statistics with 3 years of experience will be considered.

Desired:  Certificate: SPSS/STATA Certificate and Microsoft Office application

The position is based in Dadaab (Hagadera camp).   Hot weather is prevalent throughout the year with limited basic amenities.  Road movement between duty station and Garissa as well as inter-camp movement must be under police escort (scheduled convoys), with strict adherence to safety and security instructions all the time. It is a six days work station with a compensatory time off according to CTO policy.

The incumbent shall reside in the CARE compound while executing official duties and shall obey and adhere to residential compound regulations.  Individuals living in FAFI are highly encouraged to apply.
