Duties and Responsibility
Provides Counterterrorism (CT) all-source analysis for the Foreign Terrorist Tracking Task Force (FTTTF) supporting TPOS , primarily focusing on support to the FBI Counterterrorism Division’s International Terrorism mission. Fully utilizes classified and unclassified databases, advanced automated tools and software applications, and other intelligence research tools to perform bulk data analysis, pattern analysis, and trend analysis. Conducts terrorist risk assessments; identifies persons posing threats to national security; and supports investigating allegations of terrorism and other national security crimes and threats.
Required Qualifications
Current Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
Education/Experience: 1 year intelligence analysis experience (with Master’s or Bachelor’s degree); or 2 years intelligence analysis experience (with specialized training); or 3 years military intelligence experience with demonstrated capability to perform the following tasks:
· Validate information in intelligence products containing information and/or data from government and public data sources
· Determine the credibility, value, significance, and relevancy of information from different data sources to produce clear, concise, and timely analytical products
· Independently conduct detailed analysis to produce timely analytical products
· Analyze and evaluate intelligence from a wide range of data sources
· Make recommendations based on their analytical research
· Develop concepts of operations for threat processing and analytical initiatives
· Develop functional requirements to support threat processing and analytical initiatives
· Utilize technology and data exploitation techniques to provide both proactive and reactive analytical support
· Conduct strategic research and develop innovative technical and/or analytical solutions to combine terrorist indicators with other data sources to support both terrorism and other NSB investigations or initiatives
· Knowledge and demonstrated competence working with the following:
o Software applications (Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
o Public source databases (i.e., Accurint, Lexis Nexis)
o Analytical tools (Analyst Notebook, Palantir, etc.)
o Background in counterterrorism and/or law enforcement is beneficial. All-source
analysis experience is similarly beneficial
o Experience with law enforcement and intelligence systems

POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the Areas of Operational Responsibility (AOR) and Areas of Interest (AOI).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in researching unclassified and classified databases for use in written products.
Assists in monitoring and analyzing strategic and operational intelligence information.
Provides research support for analysts who produce Intelligence Community reports and briefings.
Aides in researching, authoring, and coordinating threat assessments to support the Commander and/or leaders in the U.S. civilian intelligence community.
May assist with development and maintenance of analytical policies and procedures.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent and zero to two years of related experience.
Must maintain active/current TS/SCI clearances.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required. May spend a lot of time standing due to laboratory conditions.
