Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior PL/SQL Developer with strong expertise in Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL performance tuning. The ideal candidate will work closely with DBAs and application developers to optimize queries, resolve production issues, and ensure efficient database performance in a high availability environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL and PL/SQL programs within Oracle environments
• Perform advanced query optimization and performance tuning for large scale database systems
• Collaborate with production DBAs to troubleshoot and resolve application related database issues
• Work closely with application development teams to review, write, and suggest optimized SQL queries and stored procedures
• Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements
• Ensure high standards of data integrity, performance, and scalability
• Support production systems with timely issue resolution and root cause analysis

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in Oracle database concepts, architecture, and tools
• Advanced proficiency in:
• SQL
• PL/SQL development
• Query optimization and performance tuning
• Experience working in production support environments in collaboration with DBAs
• Ability to analyze and optimize complex queries and data structures
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in high volume or enterprise scale database systems
• Familiarity with database monitoring and performance tools
• Understanding of application database interaction patterns
