Responsibilities:

Assist in areas when directed by Shipping Manager, Lead or Fulfillment Manager. 

• Accurately pick and pack orders per the pick tickets created by the Account Managers.

• Ensures that all packed orders meet our high standards for quality so that every package gets to our client in a manner befitting a gifted item.

                       -Fragile items get special care and the boxes are marked fragile.

• Process orders accurately in Compass.
• Process orders accurately through our UPS software so that the proper fees are applied depending on the client. 
• Maintain work area daily to ensure that it is stocked with supplies needed for processing and packaging orders.
• Ensure that the facility is clean and clear of clutter.
• Ensure all packages are staged properly for pick-up by UPS daily.
• Fill out orders completely with product circled and work orders are initialed upon completion.
• Organize inventory bins and clean up aisles as necessary.
• Cut down and throw out boxes when space/time permits throughout the day.
• Offer suggestions to Fulfillment or Inventory Managers as needed on ways we can be better in our fulfillment area.
• Maintain a clean, safe & organize work area.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or general education degree.
• Two years of warehouse/fulfillment experience.
• Shipping experience preferred. 
• Experience in UPS Worldship/FED Ex programs

Skills/Competencies:

• Excellent organization and communication skills. 
• Ability to maintain a consistent, positive attitude and exhibits attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze issues and solve problems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
• Ability to lift 40# frequently throughout 8 hour work shift.
• Ability to bend, lift & stand for at least 8 hour work shift.
• Ability to obtain forklift & WAV certification.
