Job Description
We are searching for a candidate who will play a dual role with growing accounts assigned to them while managing the day-to-day activities.
Account Manager Duties (80-90%)
Assist in areas when directed and provide support to assigned book of business by:
- Internal and external customer sales support.
- Assist clients with efficient placement of orders of all types.
- Support business segment with creative product sourcing and management.
- Conceive, create and develop insightful product and process solutions.
- Prepare and maintain detailed daily status report on all active project requests.
- Embrace problems and provide efficient solutions.
- Maintain ownership of all projects and processes.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of all orders according to customer needs and objectives
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Work with preferred supplier network to come up with creative product ideas and manage orders
Inside Sales Responsibilities (10-20%):
- Grow sales and gross margin on assigned book of business
- Maintain and blossom client relationships on established books of business so Account Executive can focus on new client relationships
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth OR Collaborate with Account Executive to identify growth opportunities within designated book of business
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Prior experience in an Account Management
- Minimum of 2-3 years of print experience
- Proficient in Compass system
Skills/Competencies:
- Highly skilled at qualifying opportunities and managing time.
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic, creative, and independent.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills-both written and verbal.
- Ability to grow inherited accounts and build an independent Book of Business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
