Job Description
Role Type: W2 Contractor
Status: U.S. Citizen, Green Card Holder
Note: We are unable to partner on a corp-to-corp (C2C) basis
Term: Till end of year
Start Date: Immediate
Hourly Rate: $30/hr
Travel requirements: Some travel involved
What You’ll Do
The Training & Development Consultant is an integral part of our Training team here at Burwood Group, tasked with developing and delivering dynamic and informative training for our clients.
As a contract to hire member of the Training & Development practice, you’ll be responsible for:
- Conducting assessments to determine training needs.
- Strategic design of comprehensive training solutions to meet client’s needs.
- Aligning technologies and processes/workflows.
- Designing and developing training content for Burwood’s clients.
- Delivering training, in-person and online
- Providing supervision and guidance on training project implementation to the Training Lead, SME, or Program Manager.
Qualifications
Who You Are:
- You have a strong background in training, organization development, or instructional design, preferably working for a consulting company.
- You have advanced knowledge of e-learning development and web conferencing tools.
- You understand adult education theories, ADDIE model and relation instructional design concepts.
- Your work style is flexible. Some tasks are great to tackle with a team, and other stuff you can handle on your own!
- You have previously conducted assessments to identify skill gaps, training needs, cultural resistance, etc.
- You designed custom training and organization development solutions.
- You have delivered trainings in person and online.
- You don’t mind responsibility, you’re accountable for your work and dedicated to a job well done.
- You have the expertise and professionalism to interact and develop relationships with any level of an organization.
- You have excellent presentation and communications skills.
- You’re willing to travel.
The Tech Stuff
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Cisco WebEx.
E-learning development tools like Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia and other related tools
