Job Description

As post holder, you are responsible for the tasks such as but not limited to the following:

  • Take telephone calls and respond to inquiries aimed at hospital services and procedures
  • Transfer telephone calls to intended recipients after screening them properly
  • Arrange for appropriate emergency services by paging relevant medical staff members
  • Make outgoing calls on requests of hospital staff members
  • Answer queries pertaining to admitted patients by following strict confidentiality protocols
  • Entering appointments of the patients in the system
  • Arrange for meetings with doctors and other staff members
  • Create and maintain logs of incoming and outgoing calls on a daily basis
  • Operate paging systems and intercoms to communicate with medical staff during emergency services
  • Distribution of the memorandums
  • Daily census reports for all departments
  • Following call center scripts when handling different topics.
  • Manage large amount of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Identifying customer’s needs, clarify information, research every issue and providing solutions.
  • Any other task assigned by management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

Experience:  01 - 02 years of exchange operator experience
 

  • Communication Skills:
    Exceptional verbal communication skills.
    Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals, including patients, medical staff, and colleagues.
  • Patient Service Orientation:
    Strong patient service orientation with the ability to identify and address patient and staff needs professionally and efficiently.

  • Emergency Response:
    Familiarity with emergency response procedures and the ability to efficiently coordinate emergency services by paging relevant medical staff members.

  • Solid understanding of healthcare procedures and regulations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Problem-solving & Multi-Task Skills
  • Willing to do work in different duty roasters
