We are looking for a qualified Application Developer to design and code functional/new programs and applications. You will work as part of a team and individually with little supervision. The ideal candidate will also have an analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail. The goal is to write “clean” and flawless code to produce fully functional software applications according to requirements

• Understanding BIH requirements and how they translate to new application features
• Collaborating with development team and other IT staff to set specifications for new applications
• Writing high-quality code to program complete applications on schedule
• Design creative prototypes according to specifications
• Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines
• Perform unit and integration testing before launch
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features
• Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code
• Develop, maintain, test, and integration of BIH websites, mobile application, web applications and portals
• Maintain and further develop the structure or format of the database as required, incorporating ideas and amendments as per requirement
• To manage Database synchronization with relational datasets
• To develop database schema and the database structural models
• To write complex queries and syntax for the relational databases and tables and incorporate with modules scripts
• To write views, functions and triggers in database to increase system performance
• To explore new tools to upgrade system performance
• To assist other developers in managing developing and testing all portals and websites
• To manage necessary installation and updates of software

Masters Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Software Engineering & Certification in application development is a plus

Experience: More than 3 years of proven experience in designing and building applications as application developer

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to program in PHP, Ajax, jQuery
• Sound knowledge and have strong grip on MySQL, HTML and CSS
• Hands on experience on Larval/ Code igniter framework
• Good command on data modeling and OOP
• Hands on android application development with REST API integration
• Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
• Great attention to detail and time-management skills

Salary Range: (50,000 – 80,000)
