Job Description

Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a full-time Hyperion Engineer to supporting and enhance existing Hyperion Planning applications. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized and be very comfortable working with the Hyperion suite. This intermediate level position will report to the Manager of Business Intelligence.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting and enhancing existing Hyperion Planning applications (Overhead, Marketing, MDF);

• Offer support to internal clients by effectively communicating, identifying and solving opened issues in our ticketing application;

• Develop/debug calculation and business rules scripts in Hyperion Essbase, using MaxL;

• Manage security both at the application level and Shared services level of the applications when required;

• Ability to create and Manage existing Web forms, reports and Excel reports related to our planning application;

• Good working knowledge of CDFs (custom defined functions) a plus.

• Manage metadata of the Hyperion Essbase cubes associated to our planning applications; Good working knowledge and/ or ODI

• Ensure very good functionality of Essbase Studio (Essbase Integration Services);

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience working with the Hyperion suite: Essbase, Financial Management, Planning, Integration Services, etc.;

• Good communication skills and ability to work directly with business users;

• Proven experience with TSQL;

• Very good knowledge of multidimensional application (OLAP cubes) - Hyperion Essbase and/or Microsoft Analysis Services;

• Good knowledge of MaxL or Essbase scripting;

• MDX scripting knowledge is a nice to have.
